I just wondering how many days you waited or.where told to wait... I was told 10 days but I still have the sterile strips on and I don't want any issues...... but it is the hotest summer new England has had in years and I wanna swim

My doctor told me 4 weeks. I would not submerge in water until your doc says your incisions are healed. I think the biggest concern is infection.

My Dr. told me I could go into the pool when I got home, just don't submerge the incisions. The steri-strips are gone and it's healing nicely.

I was told 2 weeks but the weather didn't cooperate anyways.

Definitely check with your surgeon.

you can stand in the water, splash water on your head, arms, etc for a few days. This time will be over before you know it!!!! Hugs!!!!

I was also told to wait 2 weeks before I could submerge in water. Which for me will be Monday.

My Doc said 4 weeks.........this Tuesday will be 3 weeks ugh........10 more days and it was 106 where I am today
