My doctor said no driving if I'm still on the pain meds. If it's not that far away you will probably be okay, but maybe ask your surgeon?

I was also banded Monday around 5 pm. I have an 18 month old who weighs 23 lbs and I can barely pick her up. My husband is home until Friday then I am on my own for the weekend. I am very nervous. There is no way I could handle her today. I am tired and sore.

I was banded on Tuesday and had my dogs which weigh considerably more than your son at the dog park on Wednesday.

You'll be fine.
