How often do or can you get fills?

Just curious how often you all get fills or how often they let you get fills. I got my first fill on Monday and they are gonna let me get another one on next Thursday. (so a week and a few days)!

I'm jealous! My doctor's office is always so busy that you have to book them AT LEAST a month in advance. Its very frustrating.

I have the same ??. I got my first fill yesterday. The dr. said he usually waits 2 wks. but he is getting married so I get another fill wed. That is only a wk. It must be safe but is it smart? Would I be better off waiting 3wks.? Or does it really make a diffrence since I only have 3 cc and next wk he will put in another 3 cc then 2 wks later 2 cc. Then he said I should feel some restriction and we well find my sweet spot.

I'm able to go every 2 weeks too :( I hope it makes finding my "sweet spot" that much easier..

My hospital will do them every 2 weeks but I also can't get appointments any sooner than 4-6 weeks. However, they have cancellations all the time so I always get in much sooner by checking daily for cancellation spots I can steal.

As for how much, it all depends on the fill #. For me:

#1: 3 cc

#2: 1.5 cc

#3: 1 cc

#4: 1 cc

I have a 10 cc band and I have my 5th one on Wednesday and I suspect they won't do a full one but we'll see.

I had one cc put in on surgery date and one fill of 1cc. I am feeling very worried and anxious though. I am able to eat way too much and it doesn't matter what it is. Today for lunch I ate two cups of chili and a peanut butter sandwich. What the hell??? I just don't feel like it's working and I took out a loan for this so I really want it to work!! Any words of wisdom?

I posted about this on another board...I'm getting my second fill only 8 days after my first! I'm not worried because I have little to no restriction...come on sweet spot!

Hi I just got my 4th Fill. Now have 6.3 cc in a 10 CC band.

As per my Doc. the suggested thumb Rule for the number of fills is about 3 fills a year and the best judge when it’s the right time for the next fill - is the patient himself.

If i can start eating sushi, feel famished every 3 hours etc. etc. I know its time for the next fill!

PS: Still waiting for the elusive “sweet spot”

O wish I could eat sushi again but I'm afraid to try. lol

how many of you are doing this without excersizing? I am limited and haven't lost that much weight its been 11 months. It's depressing at times, but I'm working on moving more. How can you eat only a fraction that you used to eat and still not loose weight!!good luck all!
