I have had my band for 6 months now and I am still having trouble finding foods to eat. Can you give me some suggestions of what you all eat that "doesn't get stuck". Thank you soooo much for the help!

So here is the deal. I had a fill on Thursday. I could eat pretty normal to what I have been eating till Monday came along then all of a sudden I feel like I have a lump in my throat. Like I need to swollow all the time. Do I need to have a bit taken out?

I go see the Dr. tomorrow. I only had .5 put in but I think I'm gonna have him take it out. I'm just not comfortable right now.

I was fine with everything till just the other day. I can hardly drink liquids now. The "lump" is there all the time. I just don't get it!

Just curious how often you all get fills or how often they let you get fills. I got my first fill on Monday and they are gonna let me get another one on next Thursday. (so a week and a few days)!

Hi All! I'm 5'8" BMI 26.5 240# I go in on this Thursday to do a visit with the Dr. I'm so scared he is gonna tell me I can't do it. I'm sure my BC/BS will not cover it so I will be self pay. Any suggestion I should need before visiting with the Dr? Please help me! -
Well here it is! I too have a BMI of 36... somewhat lower. I go to the Dr. next Thursday to see if I'm a candidate for the surgery or not. I am soooo nervous they are gonna tell me no! It's nice reading all of your stories and input on here! 37 yrs old 5'8" 240# BMI 36
