stomach flu!

My son gets what think is a stomach flu. Yep you guessed whats next, i got it too! I have not vomited since i was pregnant with my 2 year old. I HATE to VOMIT!!! (T.M.I sorry) Vomiting after being banded is the worst feeling i have ever experienced. Nothing would come out my band seemed to block it from coming up.. I could only get a few tea spoons up at a time it was even trying to come out of my nose. It seemed like my body HAD to get it out but couldn't. I thought i was going to die because i could not breath. It was so violent. i am so scared i did something to my band.

This morning i called my doctors office the nurse told to to take the anti vomiting meds they perscribed before surgery... Why didnt i think of that? i could have saved my self this horrible expierance.mad.gifeek.gif

Has anyone out there ever had this experienceconfused.gif?

No I haven't had the same experience. However last Saturday we went to friends for dinner and I must have imbibed a little too much wine.LOL. Woke up in the middle of the night feeling headachy and nauseous. Now preband in that situation I would make myself vomit which generally would help make me feel better a lot quicker.

Well I tried that and of course it wouldn't work(probably a good job as there is a risk of slipping the band). I cannot believe how horrible not being able to vomit feels! it took me until Sunday lunchtime to start feeling human again.

Hope you start to feel better! My dr. said to use those anti-nausea pills if I ever get sick like that.
