Pure Protein

Hey guys! I needed to grab a protein shake at the grocery store because I left mine at home. I tried the Pure Protein shake brand..Vanilla Creme to be exact and it was really good! I have been looking for a good protein supplement and was excited that this one tasted good (to me anyways :)). It has 100 calories, 21grams protein, and 0.5 grams of fat. :tongue2:

I haven't seen that one here in NW Arkansas, but sure will be looking for it.

My favorite is the strawberry Special K ones. Also love the Optifast, but they are quite a bit more expensive.

Thanks for the tip!

I get the cans of Pure Protein at The Vitamin Shoppe. I love them! My favorite is cookies n cream. The cans have 35 grams of protein in them. The vanilla creme has 60 extra calories than the one you buy probably because the can is a larger serving. The banana cream is also pretty yummy. I have 2 a day.

Hey JllyBean1982,

From what grocery store did you purchase your shake? I'd like to try it!

How many carbs are they?

How many carbs are they?
That's my question!!!

This site has all the info everyone needs. Including where to buy them

Amy- I'm glad you told me the Cookies n' Cream is good cuz I was going to try it and didn't!

Tish- I got it from Giant Eagle, which I'm sure is not in Indiana. I pretty sure you can get them online too.

Bandmom and Kimaly- There are 4grams of carbs per can

Good luck everyone! Have a great day!

Thank you! I was really sad cuz the Vanilla Creme was my favorite and Giant Eagle (grocery store) is discontinuing that flavor. I'm gonna check out the Cookies n' Cream!

Do you have any Vitamin Shoppe stores near you?

Thanks for the info JllyBean & Amy, I do eat the pure protein bars but I've not seen the pre made shakes. I went to the site and it gave me a few places to check. I'll be looking for them. Thanks again.

A Vitamin Shoppe is getting ready to open, so I am going to go try the shakes--I eat the protein bars now, but the store does not have the shakes:biggrin:

That's my question!!!

Looks like around 5 G on average. Not bad.

Trader Joe's carries them in CA. They don't have the cookies and cream though!!

Amy, I hope I have a vitamin shoppe near me! LOL If not, I found a site that will ship them, not sure how expensive that is! I may have to go to Giant Eagle and stock up!
