Hello all!

I'm new to the band community. A friend got banded a few months back & my best friend had gastric bypass a couple years ago. I know GBS is not the way to go for me, but I'm seriously considering the band. So much so, that I've begun the insurance phase & am about half way to my 6 month fulfillment. That would put my surgery at the end of April/early May. Just trying to get saturated in the world of bandsters to make a final decision.

Welcome aboard!

I am just wrapping up my wait and it was great. I gave me plenty of time to soul search and make sure that the lapband was for me.

Use the time wisely and read as much as you can here and elsewhere. Read the success stories, the failures, the good and the bad.
