    Hello all! I'm new to the band community. A friend got banded a few months back & my best friend had gastric bypass a couple years ago. I know GBS is not the way to go for me, but I'm seriously considering the band. So much so, that I've begun the insurance phase & am about half way to my 6 month fulfillment. That would put my surgery at the end of April/early May. Just trying to get saturated in the world of bandsters to make a final decision. Please see my new band blog at Band on the Run
