Introducing myself

Hi,

I have been reading this board for a month now, and finally decided to join. I have already attended a required seminar and I have my consultation with the surgeon scheduled for this Thursday. I guess after that I will start the process of getting approved by my insurance company and then a series of classes, meetings with the nutritionist, tests, etc.

I am very excited but also very nervous. I do have a question about long-term side effects but don't know if I should post it here or in the general discusion.
