Dr. Alberto Carlos is one the 128 board certified bariatric surgeons in Mexico. Dr. Carlos is a General Surgeon with a specialty in Bariatric Surgery with several years of experience in the field of weight loss surgery. He is Board Certified in General Surgery, Board Certified in Bariatric Surgery and holds two professional licenses: A General Medical license (#5330963), as well as a General Surgery License (#7593460). Dr. Carlos is a regular attendee of bariatric and metabolic conferences, like 2015 Vienna Austria IFSO Congress, and 2017 IFSO in London England. Dr. Carlos is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, member of the International Federation of Surgery of Obesity (IFSO), an International Fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Carlos is one of the founding members and current medical director of Carlos's New Body Obesity Center.
