I first became involved in Bariatric Surgery during my surgical residency from 1980-1985, performing Vertical Banded Gastroplasty & JI Bypass.
Began 100% dedication to Bariatric Surgery in 1999.
Served as Chief of Surgery & Medical Staff President at Barix Clinix Hospital of Pennsylvania.
Personally have performed >2100 Bariatric operations including Gastric Bypass, Lap Band and Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy
Presently have established the first Bariatric Surgery Program at Barrow Regional Medical Center in Winder, Georgia
