Dr. Myers has performed bariatric surgery since 2010.

Dr. Myers is an advanced laparoscopic surgeon with over 25 years of gastro-intestinal surgical experience and a reputation for excellence and compassionate care. He has performed over 500 successful bariatric operations. Dr. Myers is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Raised in Ohio, Dr. Myers graduated from Evangel University in Missouri. He completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati and then his residency in General Surgery at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. He has studied in Italy and has recieved additional advanced training. In addition to preforming bariatric surgery, Dr. Myers is an inventor and researcher. He has also been involved in medical missions, performing surgery in Africa, South America, Central America, Asia and the Caribbean.
