NSV: Trying on underwear you used to wear before surgery now fit's over your tummy instead of under. HA

I am down from a size 28 to a solid 20. I can even fit into some 18/20s. The motivation I feel when I see myself in these smaller clothes is incredible. I almost don't recognize myself because the transformation is pretty drastic. I met with a personal trainer yesterday that they offer at my office's fitness center and got some basic info. He is going to give me 2 free "trial" sessions if I sign up for at least 2 additional sessions. I am pretty sure I am going to sign up. I am making this the summer of SleeveinIL! I can't be the mother, wife, caregiver and anything else I want/need to be unless I am healthy. Food is fuel! I see the scale moving again and that is also very motivating for me as well. NSV this week...taking a bath (first since before surgery) and my behind and thighs weren't mashed up against the sides of the tub not allowing the water to flow between the front and the back of the tub. The water was able to move around and nothing of me touched the sides of the tub unless I physically moved my legs there. This surgery is giving me some confidence back for sure. I even updated my photo at work because I don't look like that anymore!   

Unexpected NSV a few moments ago...I was trying to text a friend a funny picture by putting my double chin on display. For the life of me couldn't get the double chin to show! 5 short months ago I could easily show off a triple chin. Hell yes, I am proud!

I find that I am tucking in my shirts more often, just to help hold up my pants. :-) that counts as an NSV, right?

Ok. So still frustrated with the scale not moving, BUT , first NSV--a dress that did not fit last week, is almost ready to wear. Maybe with some spandex, but soon!,

My first NSV today, my sons football coach asked me If I have lost weight it was nice to get a compliment so early.

Yesterday must have been a full moon? Hurt my back more - just reaching for something. Then the grand finale rushing to prep for the girl’s party I am hosting I slipped in my sock feet and fell hard down 12 steps and in so much pain now! Thank god for ice! NSV - 2 1/4 inches since Happy Friday! Have a great weekend!

NSV - Chose a towel instead of a bath sheet when I got out of the shower this morning - didn't even think about it!

I have a snow day from work today and although it stinks they're taking days away from our spring break, I'm excited to have my first snow day that I don't sit around eating all day! YAY NSV!

Remember success is more than just a number on a scale. Look for those NSV daily to give yourself that extra incentive and motivation!

Finally got around to ordering my medical dog tag id. Now it will serve two purposes. A place to hang my wedding ring since it falls off now. NSV!!

Work clothes seem extra baggy and getting lots of comments - total NSV. Pants almost falling off as I walk to the restroom - NSV? not so much LMAO!

NSV Alert -My coworker did not recognize me walking to the mailbox this morning.

NSV--- my slutty thigh high school girl socks I bought in Japan now fit, and my Large men's t-shirt is roomy... oh, and i put on a swimsuit that someone gave me.. i think its a miracle suit, cuz damn.. i'm actually considering wearing it at the upcoming beach volleyball tourney!!

NSV's!! Even tho Im not trying to lose, these still make me ) - Im wearing a belt I havent in a long time and wow, I had to tighten it at least 2" smaller! Also been getting lots of the "are you losing more weight?" q's lately and its been awhile before that. Yayy!!

50 lbs. gone today, and feeling restriction finally after fill last week. NSV being able to wash hair in kitchen sink again!

I had an awesome NSV tonight. I actually sat with my legs crossed!! I didn't even realize it at first until I looked down and went "holy sh*t!" First time in over 18 years!! YAY!!!

I had another great NSV. The day of surgery I was in a 54 bra, today I bought a 38!
