I'm a week out from surgery (5/14) need help with what to have on hand for the first 2 weeks. I will be on a liquid only diet, anything I can drink easily through a straw. So far I'm thinking chicken broth, miso soup, and protein shakes. Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!

Well as far as biking this week has sucked. I haven't been able to ride to work all week because of the winds.

well, hell , I have high blood pressure not low, back to liquid protein diet for a week to get myself leveled off again.

Thank goodness for mothers. Tomorrow is the wake for my grandma and everything I own is at least 2 sizes too big. Being as I'm having the TT next week, buying new clothes right now would be pointless. So, my mom was able to take in a blouse for me, about 2 inches on each side. It's still big but a lot better and will at least get me through the wake and funeral.

so been sick and i missed my appointment,and the doctor went on vacation so i have to wait three weeks for another appointment....and im so damned depressed because my family keeps telling me how fat i am..nobody knows how hard this is unless you are going through it...its not like i want to be fat....

2 week count down to Surgery Full on Pre-Op Diet!!

going in for my 5 week checkup cant wait to see how much i lost ... i dont feel like i lost much but i can kinda see a little difference in my stomach not sure if it was from the swelling or what... cant wait to see where im at... yea!!!!!

I been working out eating healthy or 3 weeks, 1st week I lost 3 lbs, 2nd and 3rd week 1 lbs! This is frustrating!!!!

Ok, bought everything I need, tomorrow preparing food for my 2 week pre-op diet. This is the ONLY time i've been excited to go on a diet!!!

First fill a week ago today..Got 2 cc's..I cant really tell a difference..but I think that's all in my head

Home from the hospital and look like a human sausage. Three days of IV fluids and I'm so bloated it's downright painful.

Hi, happy Saturday! It stroemd real hard here in Central florida lastnight. Lost electrcity long enough to make my didgital clock go back to 12:00. I need to reset the time! I hate doing that. well folks, we made it through another week.

Went a week early for my 9 month post op- down 54 lbs. I have lost 50% of my excess body weight. Doctor says I am considered not only a success, but and exordionary success!!!!

Its getting closer to my surgery date, one week and 2 days counting. I am getting more and more anxious as the day draws closer. I think I am more excited than anxious..

Can't beleive i'm having surgery in 1 month!!! and in 2 weeks. i'm starting my diet!!

Good news is when they weighed me in at hospital I was down 25 pounds from 2 week pre-op diet! I'm sure some is water weight as i had to drink a bottle Magnesium Citrate day before surgery to clean me out! Am going to try to stay focused and keep that 25 pounds off!

The good news is when I weighed in yesterday I was down 25 pounds from my pre op diet! Am calling Dr. office today to talk about re-scheduling. My problem is I started a new job and haven't accumulated much sick leave or vacation time. The University closes over Christmas so I am off for 1 1/2 weeks right now and timing would have been great if surgery would have been as scheduled!

I am doing great. I'm down 80 pounds. 40 pounds from goal. working out 4 times a week and feel wonderful. I just dropped off this site due to being so busy...so glad you are having a great result!!

Tiff your hair is amazing in the last pics looks like you never had any fall out, I guess time just heals everything-hope is good as I am weeks away from the big baldy!!
