  1. I'm alright... I guess. I had my surgery on 7/27. I just got back from a cruise and it was painful to say the least...all of that food and nothing really healthy that I could eat. My stomach hurt the entire time. I'm having a really hard time bouncing back... I've got to get my fluids in but just can't seem to do it. How are you feeling?

  2. Got my drain tube removed today! I feel NORMAL again. Just a little soreness left. I feel like I want to eat SOMETHING salty.....meat, veggies.....anything but SWEET stuff....I have had broth....but it is too thin. I will settle for blended black bean soup.....but my Dr. says, "Not yet!"....HA HA HA....I know I have to heal inside but I want some real food!

  3. oh, ugh!

    Have you tried liquid/chewable vitamins? your sublingual b12? Keep trying to get water in, go back to your previous phase if you have to. Keep trying different foods. Call your nutritionist.

  4. Way to go on all the weight loss! How much can you eat at a setting now? I wasn't really tracking cals or anything but I wasn't really losing so I came home and figured out cals for last Sat and I couldn't believe it - I had like 1700 cals!! No wonder! I didn't even eat anything bad. I just assumed I couldn't eat that many cals if I ate foods that were ok. Wrong! I've really gotta watch it now!

  5. Hey Deb. Just thought I'd stop by and stay Hi. I'm doing pretty good. I'm sore but no nausea and I'm not having any trouble getting my lliquids in so that is good. I agree with LilMissDiva, you need some updated pictures!! I see Dr. H on Wednesday so hopefully I will be able to move on to some real food, even though it will only be a couple tablespoons. Wow, that sounds weird!

  7. Hey Deb! I'm exactly the same way...I feel like a failure for not getting to goal...I have about 20 to go...yet I also am really proud that I have lost 80...argh...I've been content to just eat what I want and not exercise as much lately, but this last week I've finally gotten my motivation back. I started tracking food on my iphone and that seems to be helping...good luck to you darlin!

  11. it cut me off...I said I am so excited for you. I see a therapist who deals with eating disorders/food addiction. It has been a God send bcuz it is helping me learn why I turned to food and I am relearning how to cope in different ways. It's also good when I get to these stall points and get hard on myself and want to give in. She helps me stay on track.

  13. Coops I'm OKish, no scale movement but keeping up and more with exercise at least. As from tomorrow Im gonna have to start logging my food again. I saw your pic in that black dress, wow you look AMAZING!!!

  14. No, I don't following my guidelines 100% of the time. I have eaten my fair share of donuts and tabo foods. But I don't beat myself up about it and I go on. I do try to eat my protein and drink my water and I think that helps alot. I have slowed down alot in my weight loss tho. I am losing about 10 pounds a month now. That's why I am hoping to be at goal by Aug.

  16. One full week in the banded land!! Not a big tv watcher, however the last 7 days I have gotten my fill. I never realized how many food commercials they play!

  20. While weight loss is important, what's more important is the quality of food you put in your body - food is information that quickly changes your metabolism and genes.

Down just 1lb this week i think its time for a 2nd fill I'm measuring my food & no longer feel full I'm still no hungry but I could easily overeat so I'm calling in the morning I need motivation getting back in the exercise mode i stopped when I was sick & I need to get going again Wish me luck

  23. I finally went backto work after being unemployed for lmost a month. This job is vey physical and I should start dropping punds. but after a week of being very physical all day and only eating a shake for breakfast, and a small lunch and dinner, I have not lost anything. It is kinda depressing, because I know what a little bit of food i am eating but my body is not wantig to let go of the wieght. Need some encouragement and advise please.

  25. -why are YOU fat? And it confirms to me that there is a whole psychological thing going on, e.g traumatic events in the past etc. it made me take a deeper look at my self, and as I can no longer stuff down my past with food
