    Baby It's Hot Outside...

    I'm bloated, my cycle is here and I just feel full on blahhh So being that it's 110 outside, I've decided to stay in tomorrow and go on full protein liquids and water and revive my body from a hard week with crazy sales people at work... some say destress... I say heck yes!

    Any One Else Struggling - - PLEASE HELP

    learn how to cheat your brain... Add Protein to your cottage cheese. Mix protein into your omlette. Add your protein into a smoothie I love Protein nectar and I drink that with my crystal light... It's all about twisting your minds way of thinking about food. Hope that helps

    Smoothies (made for you)

    I love Jamba Juice and that was my gift to myself for my birthday I got my favorite small smoothie "Orange Peel" and had them mix my protein powder in. It was delishous and a good rare treat

    Need help starting over

    You definately have to make a heartfelt commitment to yourself. Don't beat yourself up- whatever you do. Start with writing a letter to yourself that outlines a contract. Sign and date it and then mail it to yourself. I did this and it helped me get over a different type of problem like what you're going through now. Also remember to come here and get uplifted- there's wonderful people here. Huggs- You'll be fine! Desi

    Lookin' Good

    I learned an important thing and it's to not think in pounds, but in inches! You see in pounds, I've lost a little over 20 pounds but honey child in inches!!!? I'm down 4 dress sizes since my surgery... I've also lost about 4 inches from my waist, 3 from my hips and 2 from the twins! I'm so happy, but I'm not gonna lie.. I need to push myself harder. I need the support of this board and I need to step this up.

    How much do you eat?

    I made a deal with myself... if I was gonna do this I was gonna do it right... five meals max a day of 1/2 a cup of food each.

    Protein Mixes - Do you make ahead of time?

    I mix Protein Nectar in the morning and drink it throughout the day on my prottein day "Wednesdays" I didn't realize it loses it's "zing" It's worked wonderful for me and is my favorite protein by far:scared:

    That's wonderful! I'm getting my second fill this montha nd hope to God that i have wonderful results too!
  20. Hi and congrats! What really really worked for me was Protein Nectar. Mostly because it mixes up like crystal light. My first week post op, I would make four servings in a picture and mix in a little of crystal light and I kept drinking it down.... I believe it's 27 grams per 8 oz servings (1 scoop).

    The one thing I'm hoping doesn't change about me is how I deal with dating and meeting new men. I have a friend who had the surgery and has become very promiscuous.... that's never been me, but I read that in some cases bariatric patients will trade in an eating habit for another.

    I love you guys so much.... I have been wondering for the longest what restriction means. So it means I'm not hungry? I'm hardly ever hungry anymore and have to remember to eat....

    I've noticed I can gulp water too and was really confused... more than normal...so gradually as I get my adjustments that will change?

    going for first fill

    I had my first fill yesterday and my AMAZING doctor told me to stay on liquids the rest of the day and today (Saturday) I feel AMAZING... and I'm glad I get mushies tomorrow, becuase I'm craving some egglplant ran through the food processer YUM-O!
