  1. Thanks Cindy for your words of advice. I will diffidently take my pain meds on schedule. I need to be back to work on Tuesday or my students will start to sacrifice my assistant :-)
  2. Well here I go November bandsters. Tomorrow is the day. I am scheduled for 8:45 a.m. and I am starting to scare myself. I made the mistake of reading the posts of people who have had a bad experiences. I do not think I will be getting any sleep tonight.
  3. Hi I also have a hiatal hernia being fixed at the same time as the band. My Dr says it is a routine procedure and it will not be a problem. As for the 2 week pre op diet I only have to do a week because my BMI is below 38. I am currently on the diet because my surgery is scheduled for 11-12-10. The True Results Nutritionist is the person that gave me my diet and told me how long I had to be on it. I drink two protein shakes and small protein packed dinner. You could probably give your center a call and they could email you a copy of the diet or fax it. I was told the diet was not really for wait loss but more for the purpose of shrinking my liver tom make the banding easier.
  4. Hi everyone, I am so glad that there are so many of us being banded in November and that I have more than just being banded in common with some of you since I am also a teacher. I am scheduled to be banded on 11/12/10 to take advantge of the hoilday.
