I urinated 7 times overnight and when I weighed this morning I had already lost 10 pounds of Water weight.
I have since urinated about 5 more times today and have lost another 5 pounds of Water weight.
So, thankfully, the diuretic is working as I have lost 15 pounds of water weight in only 18 hours. Yay!!!!

thank God the diuretic is working! I bet you are feeling a lot better! hopefully you will soon be back to normal and walking up a storm.

@@Fatty McFatster - lets us know, when you can, if the diuretic is helping -
that's crazy 30lbs in a week
please don't hesitate to go to ER if you still feel 'off' or the weight continues to go up or you still have trouble urinating. hate to say it but this sounds like its all related to the kidney stone.

Hi all, running late to post this week because I am on vacation. Good news is I got in 6.5 hours last week. But have to say staying on track while at the in-laws is hard.

I understand. I didn't have a kidney stone but I have kidney problems and I was in the hospital for a bad kidney infection and gained 15 lbs in 3 days. I was sooooo swollen I couldn't even wear shoes. Doctors said it was Water retention. Took some diuretics and cleared right up.

I hope the diuretic helps you tonight. If not I think you should go to the ER tomorrow. Something is definitely not right.

The cardiologist prescribed me a diuretic so I'm going to give it a couple days to see if it helps.

Hi. Yes I went to urologist yesterday. They ran some tests and couldn't find reason for weight gain so they got me into see cardiologist today. They also taught me how to self catheter since I had been having difficulty peeing.

Hi everyone. I'm sorry I can't reply to you all individually. I'm so very tired and overwhelmed. But I want to say I appreciate all of you that have shown compassion and concern for me. I'm forever grateful. This has been one of the worst weeks of my life. 10 days ago (last Monday) I went in to my gastric sleeve surgeon for my 4-month check up. Everything was great!!! I had lost 90 pounds in 4 months. I went from walking 50 feet to walking up to 15 miles a day. My cholesterol and other blood tests were in great shape, etc.
Then just 1 week ago I was rushed to ER via ambulance and then rushed into kidney stone surgery and a stent put in. They even made me stay the night in the hospital.
And now 1 week later, I feel like I never had surgery 4 months ago. Official tally is that I'm UP 30 pounds in 7 days!!!!! I can't walk 5 feet without joint/ankle pain from the swelling/edema, etc. I can't walk without being winded and short of breath. My clothes are even tighter.
I just can't believe no one can find anything wrong with me.
I'm just tired…and disappointed … and feeling defeated. Maybe tomorrow I'll wake up 30 pounds lighter. I can hope and pray I guess.

I came straight to my gastric sleeve surgeon to see if he might know why, but not sure if they'll squeeze me in (even though no one else is in the waiting room as of now). I have no idea what else to do.

Thank you all. I appreciate it. My appointment is in a little over 1 hour. I know this sounds bad, but I hope they find something. I just want to know what's wrong. Gaining 23 pounds in 7 days just makes no sense to me. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it.
So, I really hope the cardiologist can find out what's wrong. If he doesn't find anything then I'm not sure what to do next. I just know something isn't right.
And as of last night, it now hurts to walk at all (which is also difficult for me to understand because 1 week ago I was walking 10-15 miles a day). Now it hurts just to stand up and walk to another room.

Yeah, hopefully by tomorrow afternoon I'll know what's going on. And I really like my Urologist!!

I have an urgent appointment with my Urologist tomorrow. They're concerned that I've gained 18 pounds in 5 days. So they're going to do an X-ray and run some tests.

Thank you for everything. And I'm so sorry to hear about your kidney stone ordeal, but Glad to hear your stent has been removed and you are on the mend. Hopefully I'll drop a bunch of Water weight once the stent is removed in
4 weeks.

Thank you so very much. I appreciate it! And you are so right!!! Once pain gets under control you feel like an entirely different person. Unfortunately I'm still struggling to get the kidney stone pain to a more manageable level.

I had my labs done at 3 months and my cholesterol is down significantly as well.
