  1. I had to do 2 weeks Pre-Op diet of mostly liquids and staying below 500-700 calories each day. Yesterday and today I have had to be on clear liquids, sop that only gets me to around 80 calories each day since I can't have sugar, carbs, fat, etc. Tonight I get to do the awesome cleanse (TMI I know as well), but not sure what it will accomplish since I haven't had anything but liquids. lol.
  2. @@jhutch @@phatfatgirl Did you guys have to drink a bottle of Magnesium Citrate for a cleanse?
  3. Thanks so much. Good luck with your protein and liquids!!
  4. Glad you guys are doing well and slowly on the mend. Please be thinking about me tomorrow when I have my revision surgery.
  5. Good Luck with your Surgery tomorrow! I know you'll do great!!! Thanks so much!! Nervous, but also excited.
  6. We did the same thing!!! My surgery is in 2 days on November 20th and I started my pre-op diet on November 7th. Since I would miss Thanksgiving my mother-in-law was kind enough to fix it ahead of time for me and we ate it on Halloween. My last meal before starting the pre-op diet was pizza. My last solid meal before I started all Clear liquids for the next 2 days came last night when I ate an apple...which I had been eyeing all week. lol.
  7. I am currently on Day 12 of my Pre-Op diet and have had to stay between 500-700 calories daily. Actually, today and tomorrow I am only on Clear liquids as my surgery is on Friday. I will say that the first 3 days were the hardest and each day got a little better after that. Of course I was still hungry, but it did get better. Good luck to you!!
  8. Congratulations!! How did your surgery go? My surgery is in 2 days, so I'm right behind you.
  9. Congratulations and the best of luck to you!!!
  10. I really like Unjury Chocolate Splendor, Chicken Soup, and Unflavored as well as some Syntrax Nectar flavors.
  11. Congrats!!! Glad everything went well!!
  12. Congrats!! You have done awesome and an inspiration to many!! You should be proud!!
  13. I'm not sure what I would do, but I was definitely disappointed with the band. I had great success and lost 120 pounds in 1 year, but then everything came crashing down and I started having lots of problems including several ulcers. So, ultimately I had to have it emptied...and gained all of the way back. I am, however, happy to say that on Friday I will be having the band to sleeve revision surgery.
  14. I'm glad it doesn't hurt or bother you, but I would still go get that checked out.
  15. Mayfield, ky Awesome. I'm in Kentucky also.
  16. I'm not having surgery until Friday, but some things that are currently helping prepare me are: start walking (if you haven't already) buy and taste test several different protein powders/drinks to see which you like best clean out your house of items you know you shouldn't be eating (chocolate, chips, etc.) stop drinking caffeine start limiting sugar, caffeine, carbs, fat, etc. Read as many articles and books on your WLS as possible. It can only help.
  17. Just 2 more days for me until surgery on Friday, November 20th.
  18. Good luck to all 3 of you!!! I am 1 day behind you and have surgery on Friday..
  19. Just 2 more days for me. Today starts the clear liquids.
  20. Good luck!! You will be in my prayers.
  21. Yeah one thing I like about the pre-op diet is that it helps prepare me for what's ahead.
