  1. Yeah it is quite nerve racking to wake up to severe convulsions. Never had anything like that happen to me before. As a result, I now have really bad neck pain as well.
  2. I'm currently on my way home, but I spoke too soon. I Had a VERY BAD night as I woke up at 2:00am with severe convulsions. I honestly thought I was going to die as my body shook uncontrollably. It was very scary. Thankfully I am better now, but they never could pinpoint the problem. We all think it was a severe drug interaction or overdose.

  5. Today I have been in lots of pain and still very nauseous. Also having a VERY DIFFICULT time urinating so they been using a straight catheter several times a day to help relieve me. Praying tomorrow is better. Thanks for the support everyone.

  8. Hey guys. I'm out of surgery and recovery. Very nauseous and in a good amount of pain, but otherwise things went great. Thanks to all that offered their support, thoughts, well wishes, and prayers!!! They have meant a lot to me!!

  11. I haven't "convinced" anyone, but my wife decided she wanted to have the surgery as well and we are doing it together.
  12. I just weighed and took measurements and I have lost 18 pounds and 19 inches (from waist, hips, thighs, knee, calf, chest, upper arm, forearm, and "bust") since I started the 2-week pre-op diet!! So excited to start seeing the scale moving down, down, DOWN!!!
  13. I just finished up my 2-week Pre-Op liquid diet and I'll confess that it was difficult, but it got better after about the first 3 days. The first few days I had a bad headache and was really hungry, but each day gets a little easier. Good luck to you as your start your pre-op diet!!

  16. Today is the day!!! Surgery for me in a few hours!!! I'm quite nervous, so thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.
  17. Well the time has finally come and I will be headed to the hospital later today for my band to sleeve revision surgery. I suppose that I'm about as prepared as I can be, but would still appreciate your thoughts and prayers (as I am quite nervous). Thanks!!

  22. Try different protein shakes. I personally REALLY like Unjury Chocolate Splendor and Chicken Soup, Premier Chocolate, and some Syntrax Nectar flavors.
  23. I am packing as we speak for my surgery tomorrow, so THANK YOU so much for the list. It was very helpful!!! The only thing I would add is Gas X strips, mouthwash, and maybe a book or magazine.
