  1. Thankfully most of my knee and joint pain went away about 3 days after I posted this topic. So I do believe it was a side effect of one of my medicines.
  2. I'm at 329.2 for the 12/7/2015 weigh-in.
  3. So excited to be here with you as your journey begins just like you were with me on November 20th when I had my surgery. Good luck tomorrow. I'll be right by your side every step of the way!!!
  4. So excited for you!! I'll be here right by your side every step of the way!!!
  5. You're going to do great!!! In 24 hours you will begin your life as an all new person! Good luck!!
  6. I'm very sorry to hear about your son. He and your family are in my prayers!!
  7. I am the same as you! First week was a breeze but this week is sucking! Add it this is my busiest week at work and it makes for an extra tired and extra hungry me! And I'm sure grumpy as well, right? That's how I was. lol.
  8. I'm 2 weeks out today and have had some of the same feelings, but so many great people on here have helped me realize that this is normal and I am not alone. Just stick to the plan and you will begin losing in no time, which in turn will help you feel mentally better as well.
  9. I like a few of the Nectar flavors, but my favorite is Unjury Chocolate Splendor!!! LOVE it!!!
  10. That is awesome news!!! Congrats!!!
  11. Glad everything went well. I was sleeved on 11/20 and am doing much better now. Pain was minimal, but nausea kicked my butt for a solid week. Good luck on your journey!!!
  12. Good luck tomorrow!!! I was sleeved on 11/20 and honestly pain wasn't that bad, but had constant nausea for over 1 week. You'll do fine.
  13. It is quite normal. I had surgery on 11/20 and have experienced it as well. We just had a major surgery and our body is in recovery mode. Just stick to the plan and you will start dropping weight soon.
  14. Babbs' advise is excellent. If you make your Protein and Water goals, you will increase your calories as well. You are still stuck with liquids so getting the calories up is a challenge unless you are drinking Protein shakes or cream Soups. Also you are so soon after surgery and your body is in shock. They tend to pump you full of fluids while in the hospital so I bet you drop some weight fast in the coming days. All of that water weight. Thank you both so much. I appreciate the help and advice.
  15. Thank you so much. You are always so helpful! My goals are 60g protein and 64oz liquids per day. I just looked at MyFitnessPal and I have met my protein goal all but 1 day. I'm not sure about my liquids, but am pretty sure I am low on those. I will try harder to reach my liquids goal this week and going forward.

  17. I am 1.5 weeks post-op and lost 3.6 pounds (I think). It is a whole lot less than I thought, but staying patient. I also believe I am way too low on calories as I am hovering around 250-400 calories per day. Add walking into that and I am really getting no nourishment. How many calories should I be striving for each day? My surgeon never told me.
  18. I am glad I happened upon this thread because I was also feeling that my weight loss has been slow since surgery 1.5 weeks ago. I 100% believe I am WAY TOO LOW on calories as I am hovering around 250-400 calories a day. How many calories should I be striving for?
  19. Now at 334.2. You are ABSOLUTELY NOT a failure. You had a setback. We all have them. Now that you recognized the set back it is time to get back on it. You CAN do it!!!
  20. TV commercials are the enemy!!! Stay strong! I am proud of you!!
  21. I am doing pretty good. Still dealing with nausea and soreness. Congrats on the weight loss. Are you down 21lbs from the beginning of Pre-Op diet or from surgery date? I'm down 22 from Pre-Op, but only down 3.6 from surgery date.
