  4. Thanks so much! I appreciate it. Thank you! And yeah, I thought I would have lost more also. I am 5'11". Date of Before picture at 356 on Oct 24, 2015 Started pre-op on Nov 6, 2015 at 356. Surgery 2 weeks later on Nov 20th at 337.8 (loss of 18.2 pre-op) Date of After picture was Dec 25th at 317.2 (1 month post-op with total loss of 38.8) I am now almost 2 months post-op and down 50 pounds

  7. I don't have much to show yet (as I am only 2 months Post-Op), but wanted to share a Before and After picture so far. Picture on the left is me at 356 on October 24, 2015 (1 month BEFORE surgery). Picture on the right is me down 40 pounds at 316 on Christmas Day 2015 (1 month AFTER surgery).

  16. ‎TODAY (November 3, 2011) marks 1-YEAR since I had Lap-Band surgery. The RESULTS ARE IN: ~WEIGHT = ↓ 100 pounds!!! ~BMI = ↓ 12.9 ~BODY FAT % = ↓ 9.5% ~OVERALL Cholesterol = ↓ 46 points ~TRIGLYCERIDES = ↓ 97 points ~LDL (Bad) Cholesterol = ↓ 34 points ~HDL (Good) Cholesterol = ↑ 8 points ~UPPER ARM = ↓ 2.25" each ~CHEST = ↓ 7.5" ~HIPS = ↓ 10.5" ~THIGHS = ↓ 6.0" each ~ABDOMEN = ↓ 7.5" ~TOTAL INCHES LOST (in upper arms, chest, hips, thighs, and abdomen) = 42.0 inches
  17. Thanks again for your kind words. You have been so very thoughtful. As far as depression treatments, I have been on about 50+ different meds and none of them have ever helped. I have been told that I just don't respond to meds, so I am kind of on my own. As far as a therapist, I had a REALLY good one, but then I moved away and got married and haven't been able to find one I like yet. I have suffered from depression sicne childhood due to abusive parents and have been on disability because of it since 2004. My wife is very compassionate and accepting of my lot in life and very loving when I am down. However, she can't help much in the weight department as she also struggles with weight issues, but doesn't want/ can't afford the lapband. Mine was covered 100% through Medicare or I wouldn't have been able to get it. We actually just got back from a 7-day Caribbean cruise! YAY! But now back to real life. Again, THANK YOU for your kind words!!! Thank you so much! Your kind words are very meaningful! And you can do ANYTHING!!! Good luck! When do you get banded?
