  10. It is frustrating when people say things like that. No part of being morbidly obese is easy. I have just learned to not let it get to me. I look and feel great. The sleeve has been one of the best decisions of my life. I am thankful to be able to come here for support because no one but us really understands what it is like.

  16. I am a teacher and one our custodians commented on my weight loss too. It was so sweet of her. Congrats on the NSV! I am sure many more will come!
  17. So sorry you are going through this rough time. You should see if there are any support groups around you that you could attend. I would focus on getting yourself well and the rest will fall into place when it is meant to be. We are always here for you. HUGS!
  18. Sorry about the scar tissue issues, but a BIG CONGRATS on your sleeve. Sleeve life is awesome! I still can't believe how successful I have been. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and lots of weight loss!
  19. You will do great! We will be here cheering you on!
  20. I had a revision and with the band I was always hungry. I either had one of two extremes: too tight and everything slimed up or I could eat whatever I wanted (usually the second one). Now with the sleeve I have restriction. I can only eat a small amount and I get really really full. There are a few "slider" foods that I can eat more of like popcorn or chips, but I try to stay away from them as much as possible. I have found that I just don't obsess about food anymore. I do have a bit of hunger when it is time to eat, but once I get something in my stomach I am fine for hours. I LOVE my sleeve. I am losing weight (54 pounds in 4 1/2 months). The sleeve is a great tool!
  21. I drink a diet drink every now and then. I am four 1/2 months out. It doesn't bother my sleeve at all and I am still losing weight. Sometimes I just want to drink something with taste to it. I always make sure to get in my required Water, too.
  22. WOW! Congrats. I can't wait to say that!
