just try to eat right,i am not due for my 2nd fill until april 12th,but as of right now i have no restricton and can eat anything.last night i had 2 poptarts and feel gulity as all hell.try to stay focused and you should be ok.

eating way to much,i have had 1 fill and of course i dont feel it!!i am eating way too much without any restriction.i called the dr and i still have to wait until april 12th to get my next fill.i mean i'm not eating like before the surgery,but i'm eating...

thanks folks,all i needed was a pep talk.i did gain 2 lbs but i think its water weight.

well,i had a few too many on sat,but i was fine and the scale was down 2lbs the next day

i'm laura and since i was banded on jan 20th i have lost 31lbs my next fill is april 12th

i am very happy that i took the plunge!!i was banded on jan 20th and have dropped 31lbs so far.

i dont miss the pasta,i just wanted to have a little.i didnt cook it i just had the meat sauce

i made a big pot of meat sauce the other day and was wondering if i could have wheat pasta??i have been okay with just eating the meatsauce,but its not the same without the psta

i drink a whole pot every morning,and it dosent bother me.the reason they tell not drink it is because caffiene can make you dehydrate,and also irritate your belly.that choice is totally up to you

whyu is it that sometimes when i try to take in a deep breath my left shoulder briefly hurts like it did in the beginning

i will,but it feels like it did when i first had the surgery

i had my first fill on march 1st.and feel no restriction what so ever...i called docs office yesterday and asked if it was normal not to have any,and the reply was yes(i was hoing to get my next fill sooner)and that its a process.so i'll impatiently wait until april 12th.i am hungry between meals and its killing me as i try not to eat between,meals.i'm managing but its not easy.to all you folks that have the same problem..you can do it ...just keep at it

the reason being for no caffeine,is because it dehydrates if your a heavy drinker.i personally drink my morning coffee as that is one thing i refuse to give up..as long as i get all my Water in in i am fine

i was banded jan 20th weied in at 262 and i;m down to232.i had my first fill on the 1st as well,here it is 10 days later and i am also hungrier then ever.i will be calling the doc as soon as the office opens to see if i can get another fill sooner.good luck to you....

i put 2tbs of Peanut Butter in the protein shke to make it thicker and its really yummy--must use chocolate protein

i just bought a bunch of chobonies vanilla yougurt,not crazy about it,but i also bought some strawberries that were on sale at the same time,i cut up 2 of the berries and add a sweet and low and it tastes pretty good.i just love regular youdurt though.

i use them and they arent new,that hospital just became a center of exxcellence for bariatrics,they were sending us to monclair for the surgery.i had dr.reich do my surgery and his team are awesome.good luck with your appointment
