Good luck Lorraine. I am 59 so I know how you feel. You will do well. Keep in touch.

Tracy, I also work in a school. I am the school secretary. Luckily, I have a bathroom close by.

Understand completely. One week out and I got sick on Jello. Probably won't ever eat it again. Tried a nut today and no problem. Not pushing it though.

Good luck Melissa. This site is very helpful. I was banded on 9/2/10 and doing well. Had a few ups and downs, but overall doing well.

Welcome fellow Texan. I did not have any embarrassing moments. I've given birth twice so all embarrassment has gone away when in the hospital.

I'm sorry you're having so much pain. Fortunately, I did not. Try heat or ice to see if it helps any. Good luck. I had port site pain for about a week and a half. I'm just now two weeks out from 9/2/10 surgery.

Banded922. I felt the same way about the pocket of air. Felt like I had to burp but nothing would happen. I had a very large hiatal hernia repair at the same time so it was expected. I'm just over three weeks out now and feeling great. Down 29.5 lbs and just started on regular food on Friday. First thing I had was a crunchy club cracker. Amazing how much I missed crunch. Good luck on your journey. I swear it will get better.
