After doing months of research, I had actually decided that a gastric sleeve would be best for me, however, it is not covered by my insurance. I have my first appointment on Sept. 8 for a consult on the LapBand. It is fully covered by my insurance company and I feel that I will be just as successful at weightloss with the LB! I have friends that have had both the bypass and the LB and both have been successful.
