Actually we will be meeting at Johnny Tamales tonight for a little Christmas get together. It's maybe a mile past Fairmont where we normally meet. We have had some people bring their spouses. Message me if you would be interested in going this evening.

We actually meet in Pasadena off Beltway 8 and Fairmont Pkwy at the Starbucks inside Target. Kids are welcome also. We've had a couple people bring their kids. It's no problem at all. We meet every Thursday from 6 to around 8pm.

I have someone in my support group that is at 9cc in a 10cc band. Do you feel very restricted? I noticed you're from Houston. Me too. Would you be interested in joining a support group meeting?

I'm very attracted to a guy on lbt but the distance is the sucky part. We've both have had many discussions to meet but not sure when it will happen with him going to school.

Today is my 1 year anniversary for Lapband. I'm so happy with what I have accomplished this year and couldn't be happier with the success I've had thus far. Can't wait until this time next year! Thanks to everyone who have supported me in my down times this past year especially NEVERAGAIN (that hottie). Anyone else have an anniversary coming up?

I am a true believer that everyone has a soul mate out there. I think it just takes a lot of patience and having confidence. I've never had a boyfriend for Christmas. It would be nice to have one this year.

I was in a slump too. Just thinking that there was nobody else out there after my ex boyfriend. I hope everything works out for you. If you think about it...life is so much more simple when you're single.

So I was online and out of nowhere this guy that I had met 4 years ago from AOL messages me and asks how I'm doing. I'm in complete shock. We kind of stopped talking back then just because we were both not ready for anything serious and we've both agreed that we've grown up a lot since then. We talked on the phone for over an hour and he asks me to meet him for lunch. I'm in complete shock but decide to go for it. It wasn't as if I had never met him. We went to lunch this past Sunday and hit it off in an instant all over again. He treats me with such respect and honesty and I've been in need of a companion as of late because it has gotten so lonely for me. We ended up hanging out again last night with another couple and had a few drinks and I couldn't be happier that he has shown up in my life again. I guess the saying is true, "Don't look for someone because it will come when you least expect it"

My doctor told me to start exercising the day after surgery for atleast 30 mins. Of course I didn't. I did not start feeling better for a week. I would ask your doctor when he recommends you to start exercising.

The band is designed to last your whole lifetime. Although there may be instances where you will need to have a port replacement, a slippage, or even a possible erosion. There are several different reasons why it may not last forever but it all depends how you treat your band. I hope this helps.

I like your outlook. For so long I was unhappy with my body and myself that I couldn't last in a relationship because I was constantly thinking "What does he think of me"? I have so much more confidence now more than ever and still have 65 more lbs to lose.

What exactly are the flex points? Are they the extra 35 points you get for a week? I ended up with 2 left over points yesterday and didn't feel deprived at all.

I had a funny experience at a Mexican Food Resturaunt once. I guess I ate too fast and so I excused myself to go to the restroom. The waitress asked my friend if I was ok and if I was enjoying my meal because I had hardly touched it and my friend just told her I wasn't feeling well. I came back and thought I was ok until I felt more wanting to come up and had to go back to the restroom. I must have gone about 5 times and we had to be somewhere soon so I just asked the cashier for a styrofoam cup while we were walking out and decided I thought it was going to be the last time so I ran to the restroom with the cup in my hand and got everything up finally. A few weeks later my friend that works at that resturaunt said that the cashier told a bunch of other people that I was taking a pregnancy test in the bathroom :mad:. WTF? First of all I was drinking a margarita, why would I be drinking if I thought I was pregnant?It was very amusing.

Do you think a 1400 calorie diet per day with WW is too many as a banded diet?

I too have started WW today. I'm doing the points system. I'm allowed 28 points a day with an additional 35 bonus points to do with whatever I please whether it be on a couple of days that I went over on my points or should I choose to save them until a cheat day. Does anyone know how many calories it is allowing me to take in based on my 28 points?
