  1. Just curious of others definition of "green zone". How do you feel from day to day? I believe I am there also, but I would like to hear from other bandsters on this. Thanks in advance and be blessed with your bands.
  2. Too tight or green spot??? I am so glad glad that someone else has this question instead of just me. When I went and got last fill, my doctor told me that he felt sure that I would be near reaching my green or sweet spot (some people call it sweet).lol...He also told me to be very careful as far as making sure I chew my food enough and to take small bites and also let each bite go down before I take another. I can tell you this...He was not lying...I haven't had this much restriction since right after I had my surgery. I believe I have reached my green spot even though at first I thought he had me too tight. Every morning when I get up I have to take small sips until I get loosened up some. Most days I have a protein shake later in the morning like 10:00 or so. Then I usually eat a meal later in the afternoon like 4:00 or so. Some nights I will have a shake before bed and then some nights I don't have anything because I am not hungry.
  3. Thanks so much for these inspiring words. I was talking to a friend of mine this morning who also has the band. She was giving words of encouragement to me also. I think that it is very important to be able to talk to fellow lapbanders. Thanks again
  4. This happens to me also. I had my surgery 14 months ago and I was losing very good at the beginning but now it is not happening. I have PB's from either eating too fast or not chewing long enough at the start of my meal. After the PB, I am able to finish my meal. I just keep thinking that the weight will start coming off again.
  5. Wow! I see that you got your band like only four days before me and your amount of lbs. lost is twice as much as mine. What are some of your secrets?
  6. The reason I am asking this is because I do like to get in tanning beds. I just wonder if it is alright with my port and stuff. The heat and all.
  7. For me, it is harder in the morning to eat also. If I try to eat early, it kinda feels like the food gets stuck. Most of time when this happens, it results in a "PB"! It is usually after lunch time before I attempt any food. I stick with protein shakes for breakfast every day.
