hi I was banded 7/14/10 and still have gas. just continue to walk it will release. I did a lot of burping and releasing of gas.

It takes a little time.But it will go.

I got the same speech. I had to wait six weeks for my first fill.

I'll have that on the 27th of this month. But the things they told me to avoid I have not touched yet. Hopefully when I have the fill they will be more imformative.:smile2:

Actually I would not call it cheating. When you do cheat you will pay for it. And you wont be to quick to do it again. I really did not get a post op diet. Just got told to have some Soup a few days after surgery or as I could tolerate. example same as pre surgery diet minus the food. I can eat chicken and fish have not tried any red meat thus far. I got banded 7-14-10 and my first fill is on 8-27-10. cant wait.

I am on a 2 weeks of liquids, then two weeks of mushies diet after my banding on Aug2nd. I have had a couple of bites of other things today, day 13 of liquids. just a bite of cooked very soft apple and a spoonful of soft goats cheese. and now I feel guilty. And yet I read on here that some of you are only on liquids for a few days? I dont get it.....
