  1. I didn't read through all seven pages, but they make Protein crackers now. The problem is most have seeds. http://www.easylowcarbdesserts.com/low-carb-crackers/ You can make your own "cheese it" with cheddar cheese slices. If it's crunch you're looking for there are alternatives. But at the end of the day, if you can't find what the plan allows, ask your surgical team. They'll be able to point you in the right directions.
  2. Try different temps too. I found my allowed Soups to go down easier, than cold Water.
  3. The bolded is true for about 85% of the reason why surgeons put you on a pre-op diet, along with adjusting to the new lifestyle after surgery. If the liver is enlarged the surgeon may not be able to move it enough out of the way to operate in a safe manner and could abort the procedure.
  4. Tommy, make sure you're tracking food and water intake. You're not the only male doing this, although sometimes it feels like it. Stay Strong!!
  5. Good luck soon to be sleevers!!!
  6. Praying for you @GinaCampbell.
  7. Didn't have one either.
  8. Getting liquids in better everyday. 57 ounces yesterday. Feeling pretty clear and no groggy after-effects. Just feeling sore near the incision points.
  9. What would help this site tremendously are some moderators.
  10. Scared is an absolutely normal feeling.
  11. That's what I am having as well. Seems to go down better than Water.
  12. Some good tips here. Will be pureed in 10 days.
  13. Good Friday all!! I am on the other side! Had surgery 7-6-16. All went well. Slept most of the day on 7-6. Very groggy. Liquid intake is improving daily. Still not at goal, but getting better. Just going to rest and focus on my liquid intake. Congrats to those who've been sleeved and those getting ready to be sleeved.
  14. Walked into surgery 433.4 Weds morning. Just got home so I'll see where I go from here.
  15. Mix it with instant pudding. Barely notice it in there. *Obviously if allowed.
  16. Congrats to those who've been sleeved. I'm on deck Weds. Few more days till the next part of the journey begins.
  17. I didn't go public for the attention. I went public to inspire others.
  18. Good stuff everyone!! On my aborted surgery it was the OR too. Slid from stretcher to operating table.
  19. When were you knocked out? In the Operating Room? or Before the Operating Room? Just curious.
  20. Hang in there! Days 2-4/5 were the worst, with each day getting a little better. Stay strong!!!
