  20. Thank you everyone for being so kind and giving me recommendations- it has been a BIG help Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  21. I am starting the puréed stage today. I read other suggestions but I need some clarification please. If u make the eggplant parm do u purée the eggplant before u cook it or when it's done just purée a serving size? I wasn't given any recipes from my NUT just a list of foods we could eat. I need some help getting creative please. I saw the egg face recommendation and that was really great. Anyone else have suggestions or recipes? We should make a book together. 22. I slept on my belly with my leg up on a pillow to ease the pressure but for me the pressure against my stomach helped me. The pain does get worse when full anesthesia wears off Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. The same is happening for me. Protein shakes 2 oz every 20 min hurts. Yogurt and pudding hurt me too. I tried 1oz of Protein shake every 10 min and put another 1 oz of a different liquid in between- this helped a bit but not great - just take smaller sips and take ur time drinking Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. I was not prepared but talking to a friend who had a gastric bypass helped a great deal - I only found this site post surgery - I wish I knew about this site pre-op - so keep reading Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. I'm 5 days out and all I want is a bacon cheeseburger- I'm on all liquids and even that hurts at times - the smells from July 4th BBQs were just too much Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  29. I too take anti-depressants and have been struggling. At times I cry and other times I'm angry. It does get better a bit each day. I find if I go for a walk or keep busy it's better. I live near a lake and find the water and fresh air comforting. I hope you feel better
