15 days post op and vomiting
If you're vomiting, then something isn't right. I believe at 15 days out, I was still overseeing my daughter as she did the dishes, mainly because some pots and pans can be quite heavy and I was afraid of pulling something. Check with your doctor. Make sure you're following all orders, both dietary and physical. Susan

Has anyone lost weight without exercise
I met my weight goal by my one year anniversary, I just started exercising this summer. I had a body fat analysis done and found out that although I was at a good BMI, my body fat percentage was slightly too high to be healthy. I don't remember the exact number, but I know I want it to be in the healthy range when I go back in the bod pod, so I'm exercising 3 times a week now. Susan

what's the deal w soda? can i ever have it again?
My surgeon said no carbonated beverages, so I have no carbonated beverages. I drank diet soda heavily before surgery, gave it up when I was banded in 2010, never went back to it even after having the band removed. I don't miss it and much prefer my healthy sleeve to a glass of soda. Now, coffee, real, caffeinated Black coffee, that I still miss. Susan

Im having a panic attack about this 15 lbs gain
This is my biggest fear. I am 20 months post op and maintaining well, but I see others in my WL group that start a regain at about two years. I weigh myself every other day and have increased the time I spend excercising hoping to avoid this! Susan

What’s Your Relationship with Caffeine?
I am a caffeine addict, but gave it up cold turkey AFTER my surgery. I drank coffee all day, black please, extra strong. I couldn't stop prior to surgery, but haven't had any since. My drink of choice now is a decaf, non fat latte. Half a packet of Splenda , please. I think I'm addicted to that now, I have at least one a day. Susan

Pickle juice
Anybody know why we crave these sour things post surgery?
-
1 year today!
Congratulations!

Pickle juice
I was the same way with lemon juice. I craved it for a few weeks post op. I would slice lemons and suck the juice out of them. I don't think I did myself any damage and the cravings eventually passed. Susan

i need energy... Help
I have no suggestions as to how to improve this, other than time. It took me about 6 weeks to feel back to normal. My energy levels went up when I was released to a full diet! Susan
