1 year today!

Hi all! It's been awhile since I've been here, but I had my surgery one year ago today and I wouldn't have been able to get through it without all of the support I received here. I started out a year ago at 250 lbs, size 20 and a year after VSG I am 155 lbs and a size 6! post-182263-14139000966572_thumb.jpgpost-182263-14139001633318_thumb.jpg

Hey, hey! Good to "see" you too... In a nutshell, I sold my business in california, filed for divorce after a lengthy separation, and moved across country to florida, all in a span of 30 days!.... so yeah, lots of stress and now struggling with all this vsg stuff, but it's my 1 year aniversary and the perfect time to get back on track!

Seela. Congrats!!! Can you believe it has been a year already????? You look wonderful !

Congratulations!

Congratulations...you look great!

Congrats on your one year mark! You look beautiful. I just had mine last month also and I'm still trying to get used to the changes in my life. Shopping still confuses the heck out of me! I have no sense of "what is my size?" . I can not wrap my head around being a size 6.

I definitely look better in clothing due to all the extra skin. My docs ( 3 of them) are encouraging plastics/ tummy tuck for me, but I'm going to wait a bit longer. How's your skin doing? Our stats are similar (5'6" and 150 lbs at 13 months p/o.)

What a difference a year makes :)

well, if I had the money, I would have plastics, my skin isn't as good as I'd hoped for but far better than most, I am very lucky to have good, elastic skin. When I can I will at the least get my boobs done, they drive me nuts... the rest of it is what it is... since I did this to myself I can't really complain and I can't keep beating myself up over it... I will never walk around in a string bikini but I look damn good in a one piece! Also, my skin seems to get better with time :)
