Hello Apples....I have been banded 4 weeks tomorrow. I am due to get my first fill on Sept 23, 2010. I have lost 10 pounds from my surgery date until now. I have not lost a pound in the last 4 days. I am eating my protein and very small meals. I walk maybe 2 or 3 days a week...30 minutes. Will I really start losing weight after my fill when I am restricted? I just feel like I should be losing at least a 1 a week...but I am not. Please help. Thanks

Glad to hear things are going!!!! I am doing well. It's gets easier as the days go by. You get use to eating less. I have my first fill on Sept 23....looking forward to that. From what I understand that is when the real weightloss happens..eventhough I am losing very well. Hang in there.

Hello, just checking to see how you are doing? Be encouraged!!!

I hope God does a miracle and turn that around for you...if that is His will. This morning while I was driving to work I felt a tug at my spirit and this question in my heart...Are you having a hard time seeing past what you see right now? I am right there but I know that God is bigger than what I am seeing right now. I want to encourage you this morning...look past what you are seeing. Let God work out the situation for you. If the surgery is the way He wants you to go...than it shall be (without the bill), if this is not what He has for you at this time....don't be discouraged. He will direct you how to get the weight off. I am with you each step of the way. You can e-mail me anytime and we will encourage each other. Always remember, God knows what is best for us before we know it. Hope your day is filled with peace and not worry.

Turn around....after having the surgery my husband has taken a turn. He is really supportive and seems to be more relaxed then before. I see him looking about me in a different light....I think he really likes what he sees. Slowly but surely he is getting on board with this.

I am excited about your date coming up soon!!!! I will be praying and thinking of you....go forward!!!!

Surgery date Aug 11, 2010....excited as hell. Hello all. I am trying to get an idea of what to expect. I have been doing my pre-op and it has gone pretty smoothly. If there is anyone married that can tell me if your spouse seemed happy at first but the closer the date get...not so sure? My husband has been a great support!!! But, I think he may be thinking I am leaving him behind (he is heavy and wants nothing to do with the surgery for himself). I don't want to have mixed feelings or doubt going in. Thanks for any advice.
