I have struggled with my weight since puberty. Now that I am living in Asia, I look around and I am arguably the largest, most obese person in the entire country. I barely fit into seats at restaurants; I get winded on the stairs using public transportation. My joints ache after hauling all of my weight around all day. I knew it was time for a change and I'm at a place professionally and financially where Lap-Band is the best option for me. My surgery is scheduled for August 19th - 2 days before I turn 30. I hope to be out of the obesity range by the time I turn 31. :-)
