Thank you all for these great thoughts. I am also in the same boat. I am nurse in a primary care office. So not only am I worried about explaining to my patients but also my co-workers. I talked with one co-worker I am very close with but that is it. I talked to my boss regarding surgery and she assumed it was GYN related and I am ok with that. Due to losing weight pre-op at the gym and making better food choices I am going to go with that. I don't feel that people need to know everything. I am going on the bases of less they know the better and if they want to assume anything let them. I hate the negative comments that come along with this surgery. Thank you all for the great thoughts.
