  1. That's what I did to get my BMI of 40.2 so hopefully they don't measure my height again, just my weight!
  2. Hi everyone. I am a 30 year old mom of two kids. I have been battling my weight all of my life and I'm tired of going up and down and the emotional and physical toll isn't taking on my body. My BMI is right on 40 so I am very close to the insurance cut off. I originally had an appointment with the nutritionist Sept 24th, but I called today and there was an opening for today at 3:30. I am nervous and excited to start the process. I hope to have the surgery right before Christmas, as it will take that long for everything to get done. Nice to meet you all and I enjoy reading everyone's success and challenges.
