Yeah I'm trying to get over a summer cold myself - so not fun... not to mention both my girls have it too. but hey at least today my skin doesn't hurt lol - thanks skinny mini, i finally hit my 100 lbs lost earlier this month and it's now starting to get hard to lose the remaining 30lbs to get at goal. people think im crazy to want to lose more but i won't be sated until i get into my old size 8s!

I'm going to have it done in Dallas, Texas. I am excited and nervous, just the same as you. It's now starting to hit me that i am actually going to have this done. This whole 3 month process has both taken forever and gone by so fast! Today I had my EGD done, which I now have a little bit of a sore throat but not to bad. So when do you start your liquid diet?

Hey Girl! It's all going good! Work has been really crazy for me and lately when I tried to get onto this website it wouldn't come up for some reason.

It looks like I will get my sleeve at the end of next month! yay!! Tomorrow I go in for my 3rd dietitian visit and I'm so excited, how about you? how are things going????

Liz told me in an email that "Dr. Jay performs the EGD’s and he does put you under, but not complete. Its local anesthesia."

Okay does that sound weird to you?

so Liz from Dr. Jays office just emailed me back and, YES I will need to get one done too! She said is it a pre-op requirement but she usually doesn't tell the patient until they are a month out.

So thanks again for asking! I totally didn't know I needed to get one!

Yeah I had to do the same sleep study, and 3 month diet but every 30 days i have to go back to the nutritionist/dietitian to monitor my progress.

What is a EGD? I have not hear of that?

How awesome!!!!! You're the first person I have come across to be getting it done by the same doctor. I just got my psy. evaluation done today and I have 2 more nutritionist visits. All this should be done by the beginning of December and I am hoping I can have the surgery before the end of the year. - Dr. Jay doesn't think it will be a problem.
