For me I was fine for the first few hours my surgery was around 3pm and then around 7 or 8 I started to feel like crap. -

We went to dinner the other night with some old friends. One of the wives was the lady who was orginally going to be sleeved with me but backed out after her Options classes, to "do it on her own" and now has regained the 15lbs she had lost during the classes. The other wife has lost and gained the same 75lbs too many times to count. Anyway we are at dinner and they commented on my weight loss and how proud they are of my and how good I am being. Thanks everyone! I am also "Officially weigh one pound less then I have on my driver's license I have *never* weighed less then what's on DL! Ms Lisa Mostly I am just focusing on Protein because of my work outs I need more protein then most I walk five miles a day five days a week with hills (a workout that I have been doing for 30 years) but beyond that I just try to keep my calorie intake below 1000.

So today I went in for my four month post op visit. My bp was 109/73 I have been off my blood pressure pills since September. My latest labs are all good. From the day I first saw him in late July I weighed 208 today I weighed 159! I am beyond happy and the icing on my cake an ultimate NSV my surgeon asked if I would send him a before and after picture on his web site!! My feet still haven't touched the ground.

Hi, I am the same way. It is weird I know I am smaller even my undies are too big but when I look at my body it looks the same.

Ah the foamies I know them well(G) I am 4 months out and just had a bout this past weekend. Its from either eating too much or too fast. It takes awhile before the nerves in our stomach get back on line so you don't have your regular "full" signals. I usually get hiccups as mine.

Who, knew (G) I mean I am no fool I certainly did not think my old 20 something body hiding under all the fat and I knew there would be some loose skin but I certainly never imagine the bony granny I am discovering! Don't get me wrong I'd take granny anyday.

Hi All, How is it that some of my parts are smaller today then when I was younger and weighed less? Case in point I am wearing my high school grad ring its been way too small for decades. I also in certain light can see my rib bones on my chest I have never seen those not even at my thinnest which was 40lbs lighter then I am now. Do our bodies really change that much with age?

Hi All, I am now 12 weeks out and 35 pounds lighter. I am 25 pounds from my goal, I am 5 pounds from my driver's license weight and 15 pounds from what I weighed when we got married over 20 years ago..And speaking of my husband he keeps making comments on how great I look and is always touching me. I am back to my pre-op exercising routine and feel great. My hair knock on wood hasn't started falling out and hopefully I can skip that particular unpleasantness. For the first time that I can remember I am not looking towards Thanksgiving and all the holidays in dread I know I will not eat myself up 10-20 pounds and beating myself up instead of enjoying myself. I still haven't been able to convince myself that this is really working and while my clothes are looser I've only bought a bra so far I have definitely shrunk there! I think I am afraid I might jinx things. I am going to have to work on this.

Hi All I think I like the NSV over the scale victories yesterday I put on some size 16 jeans that use to be tight they were so loose I could put them on and take them off easily without unbuttoning!

Hi All, I am 12 weeks post op and have lost 38 lbs. I am noticing these strange hard things under my skin, along my collar and on my hips I am told these are bones who knew I had bones under all that fat(G) -

Hi, I noticed that for me I kept picking at my plate even though I was full and then an hour later still visiting with family I snacked. I don't like to eat out or with family anymore because I worry about it. -

Natalie, I was the same way I was also reading "signs" in everything. To this day I am still amazed that I was able to go through with it. But here I am 13 weeks later loving my sleeve loving the fact that my blood pressure was 93/69 this week without drugs, loving that I have lost almost 40 lbs and loving how sexy my husband is finding me. -
Hi, Pre-op I would only get hiccups if I ate too fast. Now I get them if I eat too much or too fast and if I hiccup more then 2 or 3 times then I know I am about to get the foamies. I also will hiccup once or twice about a half hour after a meal. Nancy

Hi, I went home with one drain and got it removed on day nine. It had to be emptied once a day. I was still able to take a shower everyday. It was totally painless a little annoying and I was always worried about it getting pulled. Nancy

Hi All, So I had 3 NSV today week actually two one is technically a SV. Today I took my blood pressure and it was 93/69 no meds. My BMI is finally below 30 and now I officially weigh what is on my driver's license! 160
