  2. Hi Raven,<br /><br />I am a little confused. I had heard the super sleeve was something other than a plication surgery. Did you have part of your stomach removed or did you have it folded and stitched. I am having surgery next year, but I am so confused over which surgery to have. I cannot decide between the sleeve or plication. The sleeve has been used for longer and therefore the long-term information is more reliable. The plication sounds easier and safer, but no one really knows what will happen 10 years down the road with the stitches or the stomach tissue. What made you decide on the surgery you had?
