    July 2006--heard about Lap Band on morning news show:)
    Aug 2006--learned that surgeon in Pinehurst (whom I happened to know from residency) was doing Lap Bands:cool:
    Sept 2006--attended seminar
    Oct and Nov 2006--psych eval, pre-op class, pulmonary eval, etc
    Dec 2006--appt with surgeon and EGD. learned that insurance denied coverage:mad:
    Jan 2007--Obesity Law agreed to represent me
    Feb 2007--surgery approved by BCBS of NC:clap2: . surgery scheduled for April 30
