Sorry to hear about your separation. Put your need out to your wife. Let her know it would mean a lot to you if she were there the day of surgery or to check on you. Try to have everything you need ahead of time to make the first 2 weeks. Best wishes to you. -

Possibly Allergic To Whey Protein

Designs for Health has a rice-based protein in their Paleo shake line. You will need your NUT to register first and then you can order. My dr, thought the sweeteners may be the cause of my problems. -
I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea in the 3 month waiting period. I got my machine 1 month before surgery and was required to use 2 weeks prior to surgery. I had to bring the machine to the hospital for post-op use. The oxygen in the hospital was so dry, I was glad to have the machine with humidity control.

I am on day 5. I have had to stop the crystal lights, etc. for a few days based upon dr. advice. I am now having broth and herbal teas to get my fluids in. plain water wasn't going down well for me. Have you tried anything else besides water? -

I had both EGD and colonoscopy done at the same time. Polyp tissue was taken for biopsy. All can back benign. Dr. said that with sleeve they can go back and take out any time--not the case with by N -

Wishing you the best on Monday and strength to get through the party. I had cupcakes for my son's 11th birthday last night. I probably would have had 3 (red velvet, carrot cake, and chocolate) if I weren't on the path to surgery on Thursday! They looked good, but not worth failing on pre-op plan.

You can do it! Stick to your pre-op plan. My surgery is thursday. My dr. has me on Optifast, but i can have decaf coffee, crystal light, sugar free jello, and sugar free Popsicles. It helps take the edge off. Good luck!
