    I'm here to help...

Well just checking in,,,,it has been raining all day and night! But I did manage to go jogging (yeah you heard me right) for 20 minutes! Wow, I really can't believe it! Christmas day I ate crap and candy and sausages ( we recieved a figis big box) I ate peti-fours, and torts, and was a really baaaaad girl, but sinceit was only 24 hours, and my mom has hidden all the rest of the chocolate, and such, and it's back to the grind. I will say at the end of the day I did really feel like crap, and wondered how people can eat that shit day in and day out? I was very content to get back to my normal eating.....24 hours was all I guess I needed. I really have never been a big sweets eater anyway, being more of a meat and potatos kinda girl! That's all I have to report, hope everyone stays happy, and healthy! ~Kelly~

I love the rain, but this is crazy....it has been non stop for days now, our lake is full, are roads are flooded.....and it's just too damn wet for me to walk. I know it won't last forever, and I know I said I would walk in it, but this amount of rain is crazy, and we are expecting more until Thursday! Oh well, it is not like I am quitting, but just taking a couple of days off. I hate the fact it may slow down my weight loss, but I am doing pretty good(if I do say so myself). Anyway read all the posts, and crs too. Happy Aniversary Charlene! I have been sticking to dense protien, protien, protien. It really does work. And with all these chocolate commercials, have kinda had a hankering for a chocolate bar.....but seeing that I live "out in the country" I just GET OVER IT....and keep that turning 50 in May in my head..... Well that's all folks, Hoping everyone has a dry, warm, healthy eating, positive thinking kinda day! ~Kelly~

Jamelyn, so sorry to hear about your troubles. Glad they found out the problem. Now on a bright note, you are doing great! My hats off to you, doing it all on sheer will power! Hello everyone, since I spoke to you last, I dropped 2 more pounds....I'm quite sure I'll be on a plateau for a while, but you never can tell. It rained all night, and it's pouring again! I did manage to get two walks in between though (yea for me). Well that is all for now...i love the rain! ~Kelly~

Afternoon everyone.....and she loses another pound:lost1lbs: , I think if I was not walking soooo much..I would be eating too much, but I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it! Oh I know as my weight goes down, I will slowly have to shave my calories, but I'm always calculating with those on line calculators to make sure I'm under there cal count. Right now I am eating between 1200-and 1400....and am very comfy with that. I couldn't mail my cards yesterday because the post office was closed for lunch (very small town about 1500) so I will go today after 1:30. We are supposed to get 3 storms so the next few days may be wet ones, but rain or not I will walk.....found some old windbreakers I can wear over my sweatshirts, and a little water is not going to scare me off..even Sophie will go out in it. Funny she gets a litlle trail of water dripping off her belly...cause she is so low to the ground Ha-Ha! That's all for today..... ~Kelly~

    total calories eaten daily

Gosh, I don't think I could live on 600 or 800 cal. per day. I eat anywhere from 1200-1600, and am losing 10 pounds per month. I am walking an hour a day, 7days a week....so maybe thats why I can have a few more calories and still lose!

    Taco Shells

I love, love, love tacos, we have them at least a couple times a month! I'm a bad girl, but for my dinner I fry flour torts in lard! Of course I allot for the calories, and I walk an hour a day. I don't think I could live if I couldn't eat tacos. Oh yeah, If I have one for lunch I eat it soft, and I use the small size torts!

    I'm here to help...

Good afternoon everyone! I lost another pound after being on a plateau for 10 days (whew!).:lost1lbs: I have been keeping up with my walking, and in the process, have gotten to know a lot of the neighbors! Kinda fun. Today I have to go pick up my pick-up....I had to have some work done on it, and Mom offered to pay for my Christmas present. I accepted her offer, and then she doesn't have to worry about going to town and shopping! We also decided not to get a tree this year, I just did not feel like doing all that work, have it up for a couple of weeks, then all that work packing all the stuff back up and having to take it 20 miles back down to storage...(call me lazy, but I just did not feel like doing it) and my Mom could care less (ha-ha). I really can't afford it right now anyway.:ban: On a bright point, I am overdosing on Christmas movies on t.v., and I did all my cards I will put them in the mail when I go pick up my pick-up (haha) get it? Hope everyone has a great ,warm, pain-free, healthy eating, stress free day! ~Kelly~:Banane04:

Apples..I had that happen to me too, so it's not you or me. I can't figure out why you can't do the color, that's just plain wierd. Sophie doesn't have an ounce of fat on her and she is fixed...must just be good geans! I was so tired last night from walking, that I went to bed at 7:30 and slept till 6:00 am, I am still sore today, but not as tired. I will keep on plunking away at this, I still have that big 50 in May that is a great motivator. The only way I could upload was in full editor!

    I'm here to help...

Well all I recieved some e-mails asking for my address? I must have missed some posts, but I don't have a clue what's going on! The weather here is really great..right at 60 degrees, but the sun is shining and when I went for my walk this morning I had to push the sleeves up on my sweatshirt....maybe a t-shirt this afternoon. Still on a plateau, eating so much tuna salad, we are now out of lettuce. So going to have to come up with something clever for lunch? I am sore from all my walking, but not so bad I don't go...but I can sure feel it! Tomorrow will be the beginning of week 14 of hard core walking. 40-60 minutes a day, and my little wieny dog has gone every step with me (it's too cute) she is sooooo serious when we go,,and if I lose track of time she is the first one to remind me. Animals internal clocks are amazing! Well hoping everyone has a warm, safe, happy, and healthy weekend. ~Kelly~ My Sophie
