Hi! My name is Holly and I have struggled with my weight pretty much all my life. There isn't a time that I can remember being small. I am starting my lapband journey not only to become healthier but also for when my husband and I decide to have babies, it will be a lot easier on my body and the baby. At my largest I was 306. I am not currently 293 and holding. no loss but the good part is...no gain!!! I have 2 friends that just in the month of June went through the process and became banded. One of them went through my dr (Dr. Adam Smith) and one went through a different doctor. I am more than exstatic to watch them go through their journey and learn the do's and don'ts of the surgery and what comes after. I have never been more nervous about something in my life, but I have also never been this excited about starting a new chapter in my life. I'm just ready to get the ball rolling and see where it takes me. I am just starting the process on July 27th but I am eager to get everything started. **More to come later**
