Well! how surprised was I when I was just looking around today and came across a post of yours. That led me to your blog. Definitely not what I was expecting but got a chuckle out of me. You just might be the Jillian Michaels I need!!! lol I love a feisty person who won't take no crap!!!! Congrats on your success. And by the way, the post I was reading was like from 2006. Unfortunately, someone posted "success pictures" but they were really of a model name Erika Garza.

I honestly feel sorry for the poster. (Mariah) The pictures were of Erica Garza.(a model) However, I don't like liars. Especially when you have people asking her "how she did it". Obviously she has some issues. I hope she gets them resolved. I think I can understand where the weight issue comes from now.

Good to hear from you. I was struggling but I seem to be getting back on track. I've lost 50lbs but that was within 4 months of surgery. I haven't lost anything in about 4 months but hopefully I got the ball rolling again.

What about you? How are you and your band?

Hi Yetramc! I have no complaints on Dr. Duncan. The only issue I had was being sent home two hours after surgery. I thought that was a bit much. I will say that all the times I heard "the band is only a tool" I completely understand now. lol You can eat around the band. With that said, I have lost 50lbs since my surgery. (9-10-08) I could be further along but I have had some issues and I am working on that as I speak.

I would have never been able to do this without the band so I am definitely much better off. Keep me posted on your journey. I would love to hear how you are doing.

Hi there, I saw that we have a mutual friend in common and I want to ask about that person. But I also noticed we are both from Ga. So hello! My dr. is Dr. Duncan. I had surgery 9-10-08. Anyways, back to my question. Have your heard anything from "tainabj"? I'm just curious how her surgery went.

Well just call me a loser(and not a weight loss loser! lol) . I want to apologize for not answering your message back in NOVEMBER! I just saw it.

I did not go to the meeting in McDonough but I do hope to make one one of these days.
