  2. I am down 25 total, and I did a great workout today and so although I am still only doing cardio my goal is to step up the workout this week. I have been averaging 5 days a week. I have also struggled getting enough fluids but that is getting easier. I am glad to hear you are doing okay with the fill, I am nervous about the first one!

  3. Looks like you are doing well! I was banded 5/19 and am down 17 pounds since surgery. Trying to stay focused and get a little more active every day. Any good tips? I am back to regular fill and have my next appt July 8 to see if I am ready for a fill. Finding my appetite grows every day!

    Entering Bandster Hell??? ARGGHH!

    I was banded 5/19 and have been losing much slower since starting the "real foods" again too. Just trying to keep focused and remember things like I can see my clothes fitting different too, small milestones!
  5. I have had the same problem since reintroducing the solid protein and I was told the same thing, I wasn't eating enough. Great to hear the advice!
  6. No, my band was put on "loose" until I am healed, my next appt and first opportunity for a fill is July 6 =)
  7. I had a lot of trouble with the gas pains my first week and used the GasX dissolvable thin strips, you might want to ask your Dr. if you could use these?
  8. Hi May bandsters! I got banded 5/19 and it took about a week to get rid of the gas pains. Had my first post op appt on 6/1 and got cleared for walking and "full fluids". Then onto "mushy foods" and my next appt is 7/6 for a potential fill. I have had some soreness still, not sure if I am pusing myself too hard while walking. Going to take it easier tomorrow. So far since surgery I am down 15 pounds but seem to be stuck. I think after reading on here, I might not be getting enough calories. Does anyone else have this problem?
  9. I did 2 low carb, high protein shakes and 1 small low carb, low fat meal (1 meat + veggie) for 2 weeks prior to surgery and lost 12 pounds. I have heard many other people say they had to do just the shakes for 2 weeks though. I bought mine already made from Target or Wal-Mart.
