I love "Rain down on me Lord pour out you storehouse of blessings"! I am going to focus on that today. I know the Lord has blessed me and has a room full of more blessings if I just have faith. Have a great day! Check out my blog:Believe

Sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. I have never drank whey protein shakes. I have tried 2 kinds but had to force myself to drink them. I drink the Myoplex Lite Chocolate Fudge and enjoy them. They are 170 calories, 2 grams fat, 20 grams protein, 5 grams fiber, 4 grams sugar. I buy the ready to drink ones at Sam's. I know it is so hard to find one you like. I hated trying all different kinds. I am a baby about trying things. I hope you find something that works! Check out my blog:Believe
  7. I know it is hard to not be frustrated!!! It sounds like you are doing great. You are doing everything you are supposed to do. You just have to have faith that you will see the results. I have to stop comparing weight loss to others on here or it would drive me crazy. Do you feel better in your clothes? Maybe you are losing more inches than you know. Check out my blog: Believe

It is normal to be nervous and unsure at times, at least for me it was. I think it is like getting on a rollercoaster that is bigger than one you have ever been on. You want to. You are excited but you still think about maybe just not getting on. You have butterflies. You try to talk yourself out of it. When others are obese. I think they are almost jealous and afraid when they know someone close to them is getting WLS. Good luck! Check out my blog: Believe
  9. I was banded June 8th. My band is empty now and I will not get a fill until July 29th, which will make it 7 weeks after surgery. I feel your pain. I haven't lost any weight in the last 3-4 weeks. I lose a few pounds and then put them back on. When can you start introducing oatmeal, mash potatoes, etc? I feel your pain. It will get better when you can add more foods.

Congratulations! I am looking forward to that day!
  11. I am sorry you are having such a hard time. It is strange and so unprofessional that your doctor is not actively searching for an answer. I am hoping you find some relief!
  12. For dinner I was eating lemon pepper tuna and refried black beans...another strange combo but good!

I have been having a REALLY hard time too! Old habits are hard to break. Over the weekend, I went to a birthday party. I didn't eat anything there but used that as an excuse to have bites later. Tomorrow it will be 2 weeks post op and I have already been eating soft foods. I have found I can eat just about anything. I have got to stop taking bites here and there. I am upset with myself but we will just have to kick ourselves out of it. Next week I am going to a rehearsal dinner and wedding! It is hard to watch people eat. My own family orders takeout, makes pancakes, etc. I feel like a recluse that comes and gets on the internet while they eat.

This is the first PMS I have had with the band. I am hoping my PMS is why I feel soooooooo grumpy, annoyed, and overall blah. I know it is. I am someone who usually feels like I want to punch something when I am PMSing. Usually, I calm my ugly mood with food. I am craving chocolate and NOT my chocolate protein shake. I know this too shall pass. I need to remember why I had this surgery. I gained a 1.5 pounds yesterday. I am sure I am retaining water. I was down 19.5 but now 18. I am truly someone who suffers more mental, emotional symptoms from PMS than physical. Maybe I can let a Hershey Kiss disolve in my mouth. I will have to give the back to someone and have them lock it up after I get 1!
  15. My surgeon prescribed pepcid twice a day the day I left the hospital. Hopefully, that will help a lot. I would definitely be bummed also! My protein shakes are so NOT appealing right now. I mean maybe one a day but not 3. I have lost interest in chicken broth. We can do this. We can do this. We can do this.
