My name is Melainie Knapman Smith im 36 years old and was very over weight.I Have three sons and live in Taranaki, New Zealand, with my husband.I was sick of yo yo dieting losing weight and then putting more back on Im a foodie someone who loves food.My chance to have a lap band put in was a god send something to stop my eating binging I had surgery on the 22January 2010 and have lost 14kg so far, Im really enjoying the band
