I had to go back to the doctors today....incision where my port is had a bit of drainage. Dr gave me some antibiotics and said I would be fine. Had a really good nights sleep last night so I feel refreshed.

I have been walking around my house every 3 hrs for about 15/20 minutes and I am walking faster every time so know I am healing:)

I too have tons of more energy and my son was overjoyed with that.

I am 5 days post op so not so much energy now....LOL

Good for you ! I am 5 days post op and I am hurting around my port area. I can't wait to say that I am feeling almost 100 %.

How long were you off ?

I have read all of your entries in your blog and I want to say thank you. I was having such a hard time with this decision to have my surgery on 6/3/10 but I now know there is no way that I could not have this surgery. My life, my happiness, my health and my future depends on it.

Can I have Jello during the pre-opt phase ? Its not on my list.

Today I can say was much better for me. Kind of tough because my family is always cooking and getting together. No one really understands what I am going through so not a whole lot of support from them.
