Haven't been banded yet but i asked the same questions and from what i gather a PB is a "productive Burp" when you burp and food comes up but your not vomiting and i asked the sliming question as well that is supposedly when your stuck and your slavaliry gland work over time to try and make the food slide through the band... So was i right??? all you vets out there am i getting the termonalogy correct?

What is an EGD....i cant figure that out guess i could take out my medical dictionary but i'm too lazy...

i was advised to take a chewable vitamin... i just found some gummies at target for adults so i'm gonna start taking them.

Scared now my surgery is on the 26th i sure hope this doesnt happen to me...Good luck hope you feel better....

i take Cymbalta i'm just afraid it will be too big of a capsule to take after my band...please let me know if it doesnt give you a problem....thanks

Who would have thunk that something as simple as taking a shower would be so much work!!! i so cant wait for my lap band and help with losing weight so something like a shower wont tucker me out!!! I only heard about people getting tired easy by walking, talking, bathing i never thought i would be that person..Thank God for the invention of the lap band because i just cant do it on my own....

i use the isopure powder and the ready to drink kind.... isopure helps with the not so milk shake like feeling however the cookies and cream is very sweet and i need to water it down...

so sorry u have to do a liquid diet my 1st week is done as well but i lucked out with a low carb diet...good luck i'd recomend more protein shakes??

That's ok to vent that's what were here for. I need to vent as well we should make this the venting thread ha ha.... I too have 2 kids a dear hubby and take care of 2 ladies with developmental disabilities... so needless to say my house isn't spotless, however i had my annual unannounced visit from the licensing people and they were non to kind.... I hate that! they always come when it's messy looking not DIRTY but messy... now i have to CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN and WAIT WAIT WAIT for them to come back "when ever" they feel like it. And during all this keep up with my pre-op diet, study take a quiz and a final come tuesday.... So Good luck to all of us pre bandsters who have to actually work, clean and go to school...

Yes make your tracker the way you want it then go to "user CP" at the top left of the screen and go to edit signature and follow the directions have fun!!
